The ESSE UT ESSE project was born from the meeting of a young designer, Claudio, with an ambitious entrepreneur, Stefano. Both had worked with international designer labels, gaining important experience with them and living, for years, surrounded by trends from all around the world. Claudio profitably developed the collection research and design component while Stefano acquired important industrial expertise.
Just as neo-classicism generated formulas
that it believed antique
fixing them in the whiteness of marble,
likewise style in these last ten years
has brought the future
to the past, and back again
This temporal back and forth shows itself
in the raw materials and in the care
with which they are processed.
Paradox has become form,
form has become expression,
expression has become change,
change has become fashion.
Products through the aeons
are influenced more by time
than by space
and with every trip they carry
the signs of the historical
awareness they have acquired.
The red wire
Which in our experience has linked past and future,
experimentation and consolidation,
encourages us to build on the lessons for a future open to the world.
